Friday Favourites

I have been struggling in these past couple of weeks to channel my creative thinking into something productive. I’ve been lacking in motivation for things like going to the gym, eating well, and even writing up posts to share with you all. I want to keep this blog as my happy place, so I won’t ever post any content on here just for the sake of posting something. I don’t want my writing to ever feel like a chore, but I do want to be able to look back at old posts for inspiration on days when I’m not feeling too motivated. So (hopefully) each Friday, starting from today, I’ll be sharing a few of my favourite things (apologies if that song from The Sound of Music just popped into your head). Click on either the pictures or links listed to see the original posts and sites. Enjoy!

Song of the week:

#GETITRIGHT – Miley Cyrus
What can I say? I love Miley. I love this song. Whenever I hear it, I start to dance, and dancing makes me happy. I’m really enjoying her new album!

Space of the week:

Elsie from A Beautiful Mess shared a tour of her kitchen earlier this month, and it is absolutely stunning. I love that it completely shows off her personality and style. I’m still living at home, but after seeing this post I couldn’t help but day dream about how I’ll decorate and fit out a kitchen of my own one day. One day.

Item of the week:

A retro fridge (just like Elsie’s!) to go with my new imaginary kitchen. A girl can dream, can’t she? These colours are amazing, although I wouldn’t be opposed to one in red! Like I said, one day.

SMEG
Big Chill
Northstar

Outfit of the week:

Zanita‘s outfit is unique and colourful with great contrasting and textured fabric. It screams summer, which I absolutely adore. She’s a gorgeous lady with a stunning figure, and is rocking that midriff look.

TV Show of the week:

A Moody Christmas. This has to be one of the funniest Australian television shows I have ever seen. The story surrounds an extended family who get together once a year on Christmas day. Each episode tracks the family’s progression over six separate years of Christmas, where the events of each year in between are summed up in just one day. It is so easy to put yourself into this family’s shoes, as the characters and their situations are SO relatable. You can read more about it, here!

Muse of the week:

Nicole Warne. aka. Gary Pepper Girl. This lovely lady has been an inspiration of mine for the longest time. Her classic style and dreamy photographs are two of the main reasons that I decided to start a blog of my own. She’s a fellow Aussie with an incredible work ethic, and I love following her on her jet-setting adventures.

Happy Friday!
