Well, here goes. My very first outfit post of 2014! These photos may or may not have been taken last year, but you aren’t going to hold that against me, are you? Of course you aren’t, you beautiful person, you. I wore this outfit to my beautiful friend Catherine’s hen night in December. I had a blast, and this leotard/skirt combo was perfect for the Lebanese banquet + cushioned floor seating we enjoyed. Cat is getting married to her fiancé Pete in a couple of weeks, and I couldn’t be more excited for their wedding.
Please ignore the split ends I seem to be proudly displaying here. I can assure you, I was not proud of them, and I was able to have them chopped off within the week!
I bought this skirt in America last year, but it was too small for me when I got home (yep, let’s not talk about the holiday weight gain). I discovered it on the bottom of my wardrobe on the day of the hen night, and so I tried it on. What do y’know? It fit perfectly! That, my friends, is a wonderful feeling.
I have a quiet weekend planned for this week, as next week Pat and I are heading down to Melbourne for five days to catch some of the Australian Open tennis action! I’m really excited, especially because Pat hasn’t seen the pro’s play live before. I come from a family of tennis players, so it’s in my blood to enjoy playing and watching. We know a few other people who will be heading down at the same time as us, too, so hopefully we’ll see some familiar faces!
