Saturday Night

Saturday flew by in a giant blur of business, while Sunday was rainy and cold, which meant I was unable to scour Sydney for new places to take amazing pictures. I haven’t quite mastered the art of indoor photography when it comes to my outfits just yet, but hopefully I’ll figure it out soon. Here are some snapshots of my outfit from Saturday evening’s engagement party – congratulations to Kirsty May and Jeffrey! We had a wonderful night full of chatting, laughing, and, most importantly, dancing. I attended a dance workshop a few weeks ago where I learnt the choreography to Single Ladies, by Beyonce. Needless to say, Tahnee and I blew everyone off the dance floor when that song came on. It was fantastic.

These photos were taken at the end of the night, as there was no time to take any pictures before the party – we were running very late! I hope you all like my “faux bob” as much as my friends and family seemed to. There were lots of people who thought I had chopped all of my hair off! Maybe that will happen one day, in the very distant future, but it was fun to pretend for just one night thanks to my GHD iron and some strategically placed bobby pins! This hairstyle stayed in all night, all the way through dancing to “Nutbush City Limits”. To me, that is a clear indicator of a successful updo. I may even make a tutorial on this style, if I receive enough requests!

My third K is for Kani look will be posted at some point this week, when the weather has returned to it’s lovely spring-time self, and I can snap some pictures without drowning or being blown away. Happy Monday, beautiful people!
