New Zealand, Part Three: Picton Street

A sneaky little outfit post to kick off your long weekend…

Picton Street was probably one of my favourite local places to photograph whilst we were in Auckland. The trees hung so beautifully over the whole street, their leaves in their greenest form thanks to spring. Walking up and down this street every morning and evening was like a dream, and I didn’t spot another street anywhere near as beautiful in our time exploring the city. It was only right to take advantage of this perfect back drop for some outfit photos.

This dress is definitely one of my “go to” pieces. It is a velvet Minkpink dress, and I snagged it on sale from ASOS over a year ago. It has capped/t-shirt style sleeves and a scoop neck, and I love that I can dress it up with heels on a night out, or dress it down like I have here with boots and a knitted cropped jumper. The knit is from Abercrombie & Fitch, and it got lots of use this winter! It kept me warm without much effort on this day in particular, and I think it was one of my more wise investments from my American shopping frenzy. Happy Friday!
