Warm Weather Wishing

It’s been a while since my last post, so I thought I’d bring you all up to speed with a flashback to some lovely autumn weather, and an outfit that seems like forever ago. I’m currently sitting in front of my computer in a onesie, drinking tea with the heater on, wishing I had a time machine. I seem to have a love hate relationship with these colder autumn/winter months.
On the one hand, this time of year is absolutely perfect for chick flicks and hot chocolate, in bed. On the other hand, flu season has started, and I’m starting to feel a tickle at the back of my throat. Say it isn’t so!

The past couple of months have been super crazy for me, which explains the lack of posting…
1. My sister Nicole moved out of home, and I (FINALLY) got to move into the granny flat that my wonderful parents built four years ago for their kiddos to live in, while they save their pennies to buy a place of their own. I’m so super sneaky, that I jumped the queue and got my turn before my older brother did. Score! 2. I completed a 3 day intensive Certificate II in Apply and Design Makeup at the Makeup School Sydney, and I have since been researching and reading like CRAZY to expand my newfound knowledge on the subject. Can you tell I’m a bit excited? 3. I started a new job at the beginning of March, which has been a huge change for me, but one that I am really loving! I work with a great team of people, and I have already learnt SO much in such a short amount of time.

I’ll have much more detail on those things another time. Right now, it’s time for me + my bed + three back to back episodes of The West Wing. Is there any other way one would choose to spend their Monday night? I suppose that you could probably substitute The West Wing with Game of Thrones and… Yes. That would work just as nicely.
